I set up the Grammarly desktop app on my Windows 10 device and had no problems signing in to my account. The app looks fantastic and the layout is extremely functional; I especially like the side panel’s minimalist icons and dark accents. Users can select between composing text straight in an editor and importing an existing document.
If you just paste and copy text from a Word document into the Grammarly app, Grammarly states it just retains italic and vibrant format, headers, lists, and links. You won’t see any formatted text while you work in the Grammarly editor, but the document keeps all of the original formatting whenever you export it.
