Grammarly’s Apps…Grammarly Harvard Referencing…
I set up the Grammarly desktop app on my Windows 10 device and had no problems signing in to my account. The app looks excellent and the layout is highly functional; I particularly like the side panel’s dark accents and minimalist icons. Users can select between composing text directly in an editor and importing an existing document.
If you just paste and copy text from a Word document into the Grammarly app, Grammarly says it just retains bold and italic format, lists, links, and headers. In screening, I found that it also kept highlighted text. If you want to keep the full formatting of the text (consisting of paragraph spacing), utilize the import tool to add the document. You won’t see any formatted text while you work in the Grammarly editor, but the document keeps all of the initial format whenever you export it.
Given that the editor now luckily consists of format tools such as for vibrant, italics, underlines, headings, lists, and links (both bulleted and numbered), you could simply write straight in the Grammarly app. It’s most likely much easier to keep writing in Word or Google Docs and use the devoted Grammarly tools for those platforms. Within a document, the ideal side of the window houses tabs for spelling and grammar errors, premium composing checks, a plagiarism checker, a human proofreader alternative, and a general composing rating based upon these elements. As mentioned previously, the writing rating is helpful for getting a quick check of your composing development and just how much modifying you have left.
