Grammarly’s Apps…Check My Grammar Grammarly…
I set up the Grammarly desktop app on my Windows 10 device and had no issues checking in to my account. The app looks fantastic and the design is extremely functional; I especially like the side panel’s dark accents and minimalist icons. Users can select in between making up text directly in an editor and importing an existing document.
If you just copy and paste text from a Word file into the Grammarly app, Grammarly says it just maintains italic and vibrant formatting, headers, links, and lists. You will not see any formatted text while you work in the Grammarly editor, but the document retains all of the initial formatting whenever you export it.
Since the editor now luckily consists of formatting tools such as for strong, italics, highlights, headings, lists, and links (both bulleted and numbered), you could just write directly in the Grammarly app. It’s likely simpler to keep composing in Word or Google Docs and utilize the devoted Grammarly tools for those platforms. These metrics are determined based upon comparison with other Grammarly users and the Readability score is based on the Flesch reading-ease test. Both additions make Grammarly better at a higher level than that of simple mistake checking.
However, I still use Grammarly regularly to proofread whatever I publish on this blog site. I have a pretty good grasp on grammar and English rules already, however it’s surprising how typos and small mistakes can sneak into anybody’s writing.
